Bonjour! Bonsoir!
Today I studied French for one hour. I went through some of the A1 resources from Laura Lawless, watched a Slow French Lingoni video, responded to two language exchanges on Tandem, and watched 5 minutes of a French vlog.
I went over the basics of greetings, and watched a video/listened to an audio about la bises the kisses that the French do to greet each other.
I listened and sang along with the very catchy kid’s song “Bonjour, Bonjour” which reminded me of how music helps my pronunciation. Having to keep up with the melody somehow gets me out of the tongue tied mess I find myself in when trying to say certain phrases or words.

With my language exchanges I got some very helpful corrections on what I wrote. I also learned how to write, “Je viens ici pour apprendre” aka I’m here to learn.
From the Lingoni video I learned faites maison means homemade. I already knew those two words but didn’t know that I could just put them together like I do in English (direct translation isn’t always a thing).
Anyways that’s all for today.
Bonne journée ou bonne soirée!
